Case Histories Dr. Honda earned her Ph.D. D.Sc. in Holistic Health Sciences. As a Doctor of Holistic Health Sciences, Dr. Honda is a truly remarkable health professional as her clients and others who know her will attest to.
Additionally, she is a registered nutritional consultant practitioner (RNCP), a Master Herbalist (M.H.) and an IIPA certified Iridologist. She has a vast knowledge of disease, bio-chemistry and nutrition which makes Dr. Honda a highly resourceful clinician! From time to time clarification is required; Dr. Honda is not a medical doctor (MD), nor is she a naturopathic doctor (ND).
The sequence of her education is as follows; RNCP nutritional program – two years fulltime; Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) – four years; Masters of Science (M.Sc.) – two years; and Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) with a thesis (Ph.D.) – two years. All combined, she has ten fulltime years of education – all of it in Health Sciences – all of it in Holistic & Natural Health – with a heavy focus on nutrition all the way through.
Dr. Honda is living proof that we can make a significant difference in our health by watching our diet and lifestyle.
Her particular areas of expertise are; she did her Masters Thesis on the major gastrointestinal disorders (Crohn’s, colitis, diverticulitis and Irritable bowel syndrome) and she did her doctorate on diabetes making her an expert at helping these issues holistically.
Other areas where she frequently helps people are menopause, weight loss, thyroid disorders, women’s issues, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, bladder and yeast infections, skin issues and much more.
Together with her husband Ron, they operate Renew You Holistic Health Clinic www.renewyou.ca in Ancaster (Hamilton) Ontario Canada. Renew You is a multi-disciplinary clinic focused on helping people restore their health naturally. In addition to her private practice, she is a published author where has been featured in several health magazines.
