Introduction Everyone knows that losing weight is difficult and frustrating. Unfortunately the popular weight loss programs available stop working for people when you discontinue their program. This is frequently known as “yo-yo dieting”; you gain your original weight back and then some.
So we make one suggestion; don’t do the other program unless you can stay on it long term or virtually permanently, unless you love and can afford the food and unless you are OK with starving yourself.

How is Weight Loss at Renew You Different? Firstly, the program is supervised by a Holistic Doctor, Michelle Honda Ph.D. D.Sc., with 10 years of formal education all directly related to nutrition & healthy living.
The second significant difference is the appetite & craving suppression via the QXCI biofeedback device. Without you going bananas and struggling through the process, the biofeedback work WILL get you eating less.
The main biofeedback therapy in question is called, “disrupt hypothalamus-gall bladder connection”. What exactly is this? When your stomach is empty, a portion of the brain gets a message, “Hey he’s empty down over here.”
Your brain then sends you a message, “Hey your stomach is empty. You are hungry. Eat something.” And thus you get hunger pangs. We simply get your brain to stop telling you you’re hungry, and you eat less. It’s all quite simple.
Holistic Weight Loss at Renew You: The Program Here is how it works. You come into the clinic every other week during which time we do the biofeedback work on you.
The very first session is 1 ½ to 2 hours where we’ll initiate you into the program, do a lot of generalized health work and of course get those pounds moving off, out and away.
After the 1st session, all subsequent bi-weekly sessions are 60 minutes in length.
All along the way, you will be getting holistic & nutritional advice to help you eat smarter and support your overall health. You will need to learn a lot about foods and eating healthier which we will teach you.
We will not drive you bananas about eating, we’ll just support your efforts to know what is good and bad – and most importantly… WHY.
We believe that when people understand why, they make more solid commitments to change. We find that when people understand what nutrition a food item does or does not have they tend to make better choices more often.
Here is a simple example. Do you eat white bread? It is not healthy for you. WHY? It contains absolutely ZERO nutritional value. But we have been eating it all our lives?
Simple lab experiments have been done where one sample of mice is fed nothing but white bread and another sample are fed whole wheat bread. The ones that are fed the whole wheat bread will live for a protracted period while the ones that only get the white bread will die in a matter 3-4 days!
Knowing that, why would you want to eat the white bread? There is nothing good in it. Plus it is highly constipating for those prone to it.
How Does It Work? We are simply going to do some simple things to stimulate appetite reduction & help you to eat smarter. We are not going to sell you food or herbs. We are not going to give you a painful vitamin shot. Nor will we kick you out if you don’t conform to the program (Sounds ridiculous, but one company actually does this).
How Often Do I Come In and For How Long? You only need to come in every other week. The initial session is one and a half hours while the subsequent sessions are one hour.
We suggest this to be a regular long term commitment. Though once you reach your goal, perhaps you can modify the program to a once per month maintenance schedule. Every one is different.
The minimum commitment to get started is four months (eight sessions). The important element is the willingness to make dietary and lifestyle changes. IT IS ALL ABOUT EATING SMARTER REGULARLY AND CONSISTENTLY! You must be willing to make these necessary changes.
How Long Does It Take to Lose the Weight? Our goal is to help you lose 1-2 pounds per week – PERMANENTLY! We find that results vary from person to person of course. Some have dropped weight surprisingly quickly initially while others lost none for the first two weeks and then drop 6-7 pounds in the third week.
You just need to understand that some are average, some lose less than average and some lose more than average. Everyone is different.
What Can I Expect? Realistically, you can expect to lose weight over time. Just do not expect it to be lightning fast (way too fast is actually unhealthy), and do not expect it to be perfectly consistent in terms of a perfect result each and every week. Some weeks you will lose and some you will plateau. This is OK. The goal is to make it permanent and long term. It only makes sense. As long as the trend is downwards, you are OK.
